This website is operated by Alpha 3D Printing Co. ("Alpha 3D", "we", "us" or "our"). By visiting this site, uploading a file, requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products and services to you.

1. What we offer

Alpha 3D Printing Co. is a 3D printing business. We offer custom 3D printing from files you supply, personalized products (such as lithophanes and keychains), ready-made printed products, wholesale and bulk production runs, and print farm capacity for other businesses.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

3. Your files and designs

  • When you upload a file, photo, logo or text, you confirm that you own it or have permission to have it printed, and that printing it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, patent or other rights. For designs downloaded from sites such as Printables, Thingiverse or MakerWorld, please check that the design's license allows it to be printed for you.
  • You keep ownership of your designs. You give us permission to store, view, repair and print them only as needed to quote and fulfill your order.
  • We do not sell or share your files, and we will not use them in our marketing without your permission.
  • You are responsible for the design itself, including its dimensions, fit, strength and suitability for your purpose.

4. Items we will not print

We may refuse or cancel any order, with a full refund, that we believe is unlawful or unsafe, including:

  • firearms, firearm parts or accessories, and other weapons;
  • drug paraphernalia, or anything intended for use with cannabis, tobacco, nicotine or other controlled substances;
  • counterfeit or trademark-infringing items, or copies of protected designs without permission;
  • items meant for medical, safety-critical or life-support use;
  • hateful, threatening, obscene or otherwise objectionable content.

5. Prices and instant quotes

  • Instant prices for custom prints are calculated from your file's estimated filament use and print time. We check every file before printing. If the file is different from what the estimate assumed (for example the wrong units, or a part that needs repair or supports), we will contact you before printing with any change. You can then accept the change or cancel for a full refund.
  • Quotes for wholesale, bulk, print farm and other custom work are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
  • Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
  • We may correct obvious pricing or listing errors, and cancel affected orders with a full refund.

6. Production, colors and tolerances

  • 3D prints have visible layer lines and small surface marks. These are normal and are not defects.
  • Filament colors can vary slightly between batches and from what you see on your screen. Previews on our site, including 3D previews and lithophane previews, are close approximations.
  • Typical dimensional accuracy is about ±0.3 mm or ±0.5%, whichever is larger. If you need tighter tolerances, tell us before ordering.
  • Turnaround times are estimates. Standard orders usually ship within 3 to 5 business days. Rush service is available where offered.

7. Orders, cancellations and refunds

We may refuse or limit any order. You may cancel for a full refund until printing has started. Returns, reprints and refunds are handled under our Refund policy.

8. Wholesale, bulk and print farm work

Bulk and contract orders follow the terms in your written quote, including pricing, schedule, deposits and acceptance. Where a quote and these Terms differ, the quote applies.

9. Accurate information

You agree to give us current, complete and accurate information when you order, including your shipping address and contact details, so we can fulfill your order and reach you if we have questions.

10. Use of the site

You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose; upload viruses or harmful code; interfere with the site's security; scrape or copy the site's content; or submit false information. All content on this site that is not supplied by customers, including text, graphics, logos and software, belongs to Alpha 3D Printing Co. or its licensors.

11. Third-party services and links

Our site uses third-party services such as Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers and email providers, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.

12. Disclaimer

Except as stated in our Refund policy or required by law, our products and services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for deciding whether a printed part is suitable for your use.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Alpha 3D Printing Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Alpha 3D Printing Co. harmless from any claim, including reasonable legal fees, arising from files or content you provide, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the new version on this page. Changes apply to orders placed after they are posted.
