Last updated: October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Alpha 3D Printing Co. ("Alpha 3D", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit our website, upload a file, request a quote or place an order.

Information we collect

  • Order and contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Files and designs you upload: 3D model files, photos, logos, text, NFC links and notes you add to an order or quote request.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email, chat, WhatsApp or our quote form.
  • Device and usage information: such as your browser, IP address, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • to quote, print, ship and support your orders, including contacting you about your file;
  • to process payments and prevent fraud;
  • to answer your questions and requests;
  • to send marketing emails, only if you sign up or agree to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email;
  • to understand how the site is used and improve it;
  • to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Your files and designs

We use the files, photos and designs you upload only to quote and fulfill your order. We do not sell them, share them with other customers, or use them in our marketing without your permission. We keep order files for up to 12 months so we can handle reprints and repeat orders, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your files sooner by emailing us.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do their job:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders and payments (Shopify's privacy policy);
  • shipping carriers and Pirate Ship, to create labels and deliver your order;
  • Mailchimp, to send emails to people who have signed up;
  • QuickBooks, for accounting and tax records;
  • chat providers (Shopify Inbox and WhatsApp), if you message us through them.

We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Our store uses cookies that are needed for the cart and checkout to work, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the cart, from working. See Shopify's cookie list for details.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, usually up to 7 years. We keep uploaded files for up to 12 months, as described above. We keep marketing subscriptions until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or limit how we use it. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children

Our site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and payments are handled through Shopify's secure checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
