Refund policy

Every Alpha 3D Printing Co. order is printed to order, many of them from your own file, photo or design. Because of that, we can't take returns for a change of mind. But if something goes wrong on our side, we will make it right.

We reprint or refund in full when

  • Your order arrives damaged.
  • It has a print defect, such as layer separation, warping or missing sections.
  • You received the wrong item, color or material.
  • We can't print your file. We check every file before printing; if it needs a repair we will contact you first, and if it can't be printed you get a full refund before anything is made.

You choose a free reprint or a full refund. Email us within 14 days of delivery at alpha3dprintingco@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the problem. You do not need to send the item back unless we ask.

What we can't refund

  • Custom and personalized items (custom prints, lithophanes, keychains and anything made from your file or photo) that were printed as ordered.
  • Problems that come from the design itself, such as parts that don't fit something else or details too small to print, when the file was printed as supplied.
  • Normal 3D printing characteristics, such as visible layer lines and small color differences between filament batches or from what you see on screen.

Ready-made catalog items

Items from our catalog that were not personalized can be returned unused within 14 days of delivery. Email us first to start a return. Return shipping is paid by you unless the item was damaged or faulty.

Cancellations

You can cancel for a full refund until we start printing, usually within 24 hours of your order. Email us as soon as possible. Once printing has started, the order can't be cancelled.

Wholesale, bulk and print farm orders

Bulk and contract orders follow the terms in your quote. Defective parts in a bulk order are reprinted at no charge.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

Shipping

Orders $100 and over ship free. Shipping for smaller orders is calculated at checkout.
